"Before the Difficult Conversations training, I really didn't think I could have a successful difficult conversation. I always found after doing them they could have been done differently, with less emotion or feeling less guilty that I’d hurt that person. But I have changed my mind through doing this program and I know I can have a successful conversation to the point where I now offer to be a mediator in other people’s difficult conversations should they need it. I can have these conversations by understanding the why, doing the research, providing facts and delivering with some emotion, not all emotion."
"I’ve had quite a lot of difficult conversations over the last 12 months and this course has helped me through changing my mindset about them. I’ve loved the formula to frame up a difficult conversation and using the resources on growth conversations has been really helpful. I'm now more authentic rather than scripted. I have really enjoyed using more assertive language and getting greater buy-in. I’ve also found that it’s helped facilitate more productive discussions particularly around expectations and also less defensiveness because there is now more clarity in the communication. But it also allowed space for consideration of other factors that come into play as well."

"In the past, I had been really afraid of giving critical feedback to my teams as I’ve always seen it as a challenging discussion or something that would hurt them. A mantra for me became a lack of constructive feedback is detrimental to your team depriving them of mentorship and growth opportunities. Holding back feedback is actually unfair and unkind. It also wastes a lot of time. I really, really worked on that. I’m now a lot more open to tackling some of those constructive criticism and feedback conversations. People have been receptive to it and I’ve lost the anxiety around providing difficult feedback."
"Marie-Claire is a knowledgeable and engaging presenter who provided a great understanding of our business and broader organisational context. Marie-Claire ran a series of three “Achievement Zone” workshops with nearly 700 of our Executive Level leaders in the ATO. The workshops empowered our leaders to look at how they build trust with their teams & stakeholders, and gave them the tools to make effective and lasting change. By modelling trust and building connection, our leaders will be able to increase engagement and improve overall leadership capabilities."
"Before the Trusted Teams training program, our supervisors were not modelling appropriate leadership behaviours and were inconsistent in their approach. There was often a negative communication style that adversely impacted engagement and retention. Your sessions were delivered in a way that really landed - the discussions, direction by you and the tools you presented. The program's impact extended beyond the sessions, with leaders applying newfound tools and concepts to improve communication styles and team dynamics. We have even been able to successfully introduce daily mentor feedback which has vastly improved the performance of teams. As a result, our team has witnessed a positive transformation, experiencing heightened collaboration, consistent leadership behaviours, and overall improved confidence and effectiveness in their roles. It has made a big difference to new employees who now see and feel a more consistent and positive culture. Your program has provided broader growth for the guys and the business that has set us up well for the change ahead."
